Binance

Payout blocked or account “under review“

Binance is a privately operated, centralized crypto service provider (Centralized Exchange, CEX) that operates as a custody and trading platform for digital assets. It is not licensed as a stock exchange under the German Stock Exchange Act (BörsG), nor is it licensed as a credit institution under the German Banking Act (KWG).

Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for Binance to deactivate payouts (“restricted withdrawal“) or limited account functions. The account usually remains visible, but transactions or withdrawals are temporarily suspended.

The following procedure is typical: After a support request, the user is referred to the live chat and informed that the case is „under review“. Users receive a „case ID“ and are asked to provide this as the case progresses. Specific information on the duration of the review is often not provided.

In many cases, additional documents are required as part of KYC checks / KYC reviews or existing verifications are checked again. In some cases, the identity check is reset or additional information is requested.

Those affected also report standardized answers and repeated referrals within the support system, without it being clear which specific requirements must be met for unblocking.

If a payment is withheld for weeks or even months without a comprehensible justification or if identical evidence is repeatedly requested, structured communication with a lawyer can help emphasize the client’s position and to enable prioritized processing of their request / the request with a positive outcome.

If legal action is necessary, we provide realistic information about the opportunities and risks, which can vary greatly depending on the individual case.

Data will only be used to process the request and will be treated confidentially.
