BISON

Proof of origin and account restrictions

The crypto platform BISON is operated by companies of the Börse Stuttgart Digital Group and is designed as a trading app for private customers in Europe. It is used via the BISON app, while individual services are provided by various Group companies.

Crypto assets are regularly traded via EUWAX AG as a trading partner. The custody of cryptocurrencies is provided by Boerse Stuttgart Digital Custody GmbH, which has a license for the crypto custody business.

Which company has become the contractual partner of the user in a specific individual case is determined by the respective terms of use and may vary depending on the structure of the individual services.

In practice, restrictions on account functions at BISON are often associated with money laundering checks or verification processes. In some cases, users are asked to provide information on the source of funds or to submit additional proof of identity.

It is typical that disbursements or individual transactions are temporarily postponed until requested documents have been checked. In individual cases, deposits or withdrawals via the deposited reference account may be temporarily delayed.

For those affected, it is not always clear what specific evidence is expected in individual cases or in what timeframe a decision can be expected.

If restrictions remain in place over a longer period of time or requirements are not explained transparently, structured legal communication can contribute to bringing about a binding clarification.

Data will only be used to process the request and will be treated confidentially.
